Rules & regulations
For your enjoyment and everyone else’s
We want you to enjoy your visit and feel at home. Please read and observe the following. Anyone violating these rules will be asked to leave, without a refund.
Pet policy
Char-Bo Campground, LLC is pet-friendly and welcomes campers who enjoy sharing their camping experience with the family dog or cat. To keep all of our guests safe, please read and abide by the following.
- Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome. If your dog is protective or unfriendly toward strangers or other animals, please leave it at home. Our insurance provider identifies Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes, Rottweilers and Dobermans as breeds with histories of aggressive behaviour. Please do not bring these breeds, as they cannot be on our property.
- We do not allow pets in any rental campers.
- All dogs must be under the control and visual observation of their owners at all times. A six-foot leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside the owner’s trailer, vehicle or motor home, and the leash must be in the owner’s hand. No dog may be left tied up and unattended.
- Uncontrolled barking, day or night, is not permitted, and you may be asked to leave if you cannot control it. No refund will be given.
- Please clean up after your pet. This is our number one guest complaint. Please use the dog walk.
- Service dogs of any breed are welcome, but must follow the leash policy and must not exhibit aggressive behaviour.
- Visitors and guests may not bring pets into the campground. Pets are for registered transient and seasonal campers only.
- Pet owners must provide proof of rabies shots, vaccinations and tags on opening day for seasonals, and at registration for travellers.
We encourage dog owners to call ahead about any rules that might apply to their situation.
